Consistently excellent chicken wings, fair prices, and good service.
Gino himself is usually in the kitchen, or his son Dan is there constantly. I'm not a big pizza guy, though I have had it and it's pretty good. My benchmark for pizza was Bozanna's, which this, of course, is not, but it's a pretty fair pie otherwise, well topped and with a light crust. When ordering chicken wings they are consistently crispy and well drained. I have yet to try a sub sandwich, but it should be good with the rest of their food. Service has been swell, the phone is always answered professionally, and they address you at the counter promptly and courteously each time.
The menu on the website was outdated by several revisions at time of writing, and I have several of them myself that are different - there's really nothing to indicate how current it is other than items are added or disappear (tacos, pizza logs), though the prices remain about the same (yet are a bit variable at the counter). Call ahead and confirm the price to avoid surprises. -

What an awesome place to get fish fry!
My husband brought fish fry and pizza for dinner, and they were really good.
First of all, the fried fish is HUGE! The fish fry comes with coleslaw, garlic bread, and fries. The coleslaw is on the wetter side, but it was still good. The garlic bread looks like a regular slice of pizza, except it's thin crusted and has only cheese and garlic on it. It was a bit salty and chewy but still okay. The fries are thin-cut and salted and the texture and crispiness was a lot like Mc Donald's fries, but with more potato flavor (if that makes any sense).
The price of the fish fry was amazing too. It was about $11, which was unbelievable for the amount of food!
We got a large pepperoni pizza, and the crust was very thick and doughy. I think if you want New York-style pizza, this may not be your place to go. Also there was a little too much grease on top of the pizza, so I had to dab the pizza with paper towels (not because I don't like pizza grease, but because it looked gross). The pizza was okay, but not our favorite.
Overall, I think Gino's is a great place for fish fry, but I think we'll stick with our regular pizza places for pizza. -

I just tried this place last night after looking for some good steak pizza. IT WAS THE BEST STEAK PIZZA IVE EVER HAD!! NO exaggeration! Price was reasonable in my opinion because the quality was great. They were really nice too even close to closing time. Thank God for yelp. This is my new favorite pizza spot

Gino's is a great WNY pizza joint! I like their sauce especially, it's a tad sweet. Great place to order takeout. You can eat inside too, but only a few tables.

I really wanted to like this little, hole-in-the-wall pizza joint more, but there is certainly some things that needed improvement. I ordered my standard order when trying a new pizza place, cheese pizza and a single order of wings. I ordered the food for pick up and it was done exactly when they said it would be. A definite plus.
The wings were very well done. They were slightly crispy, flavorfully, and thankfully, not swimming in hot sauce like too many places around Buffalo. The only slight qualm I had was that the "hot" sauce had very little heat. It tasted like a medium heat level from just about anywhere else.
The pizza was where the experience was a bit lacking. Some slices were awesome. They had a ton a flavor and the dough was a good combination of crispy and doughy. The other half of the pizza was pretty bland and tasteless, which baffled me. Being the inquisitive type, I picked apart a couple of slices and found that some had spices in the sauce and others had none which would explain the drastic difference in taste. It seemed that whomever prepared the pizza haphazardly applied the spice mix and only got it on about half the pizza.
Consistency is a big factor for me when it comes to take-out food. I don't want to be wondering what the food is going to taste like each time I go. The pleasant employees and local vicinity to where I live will certainly have me giving it another chance down the road.
